Volunteer
Volunteers are integral members of our interdisciplinary team.

They provide an additional layer of compassion, companionship, and comfort during this difficult time. The role of a volunteer is to help assist the patient and to provide short periods of respite for loved ones who may need a break from their role as primary caregivers.
Volunteers can provide direct and indirect services to patients and loved ones. For example, they may assist the patient with companionship, primary caregiver relief, meal preparation, shopping, light house-keeping and more. Volunteers can also be
instrumental behind the scenes, providing support to hospice administrators in the office.
Dignity Hospice™ volunteers possess a deep commitment and desire to help others, providing warmth and understanding during the end of life.
All volunteers are welcome, regardless of the number of hours you can provide per week or month.
